Audio-Technica’s ‘EAR PA’ series are personal ear-pieces for use with In Ear Monitor (IEM) systems. If you are a performing musician you’ll regularly work with IEM’s but from venue to venue and PA system to PA system you’ll be working with different systems are inevitably end up with a used or cheap, disposable ear piece. ‘EAR PA’ are industry standard ear pieces that you own and use wherever you are. The units in the ‘EAR PA’ series are selected from Audio-Technica’s earphone/headphone range and are especially suited to the demands of live performance. They offer excellent audio detail especially in the mid range, provide a flat, honest response that doesn’t artificially lift frequencies for effect, and they go loud!
The ATH-CK70PRO couples a high output balanced armature driver to a horn shaped conductor which increases output level whilst maintaining crisp audio articulation. The inner ear structure and rubberised tips of both models forms a mechanical seal which prevents unwanted external noise interfering with the IEM feed, so despite costing a fraction of the price of moulded ear-pieces the isolation and comfort is
not dissimilar.
